Mazey Haze has dropped a Bossa Nova-inspired single in the form of ‘I Feel Like A Child’. It’s an effortless hit of bedroom pop, with those subtle Latin rhythms permeating the low end of the track. Her voice collides beautifully with percussive countermelodies, warm synths and a jangling electric guitar. “The song is about the fact that everyone has their own perception, and that’s fine,” she explains. “There’s no right or wrong. There’s no truth. But what’s important is keeping in touch with your imagination.” She’s on tour around Europe in April 2023 and will be releasing her new EP, Back To The Start, on April 7th, 2022. -Dan Peeke.
